General Health Certificate
This certificate does not require any lab testing.
It is commonly used for general non-governmental purposes and is also known in Thailand as the “5 diseases medical certificate” (ใบรับรองแพทย์ 5 โรค).

How long is the medical certificate valid?

The certificate is generally valid for 30 days from the date of issue.
However, some government offices or employers may ask for a more recent certificate. We recommend confirming the requirement in advance with the requesting organization.

I need a certificate for both car and motorcycle licenses. Do I need two?

Usually, one medical certificate is accepted for both a car and a motorcycle license application in Thailand.
However, some officers at the Department of Land Transport may request two separate certificates.
If you would like to be fully prepared, we can provide a second certificate upon request for an additional 100 THB. This brings the total to 500 THB for two certificates.
