About Allergies
Generally, allergy tests involve checking the IgE levels in the blood. IgE is a type of immunoglobulin; when an antigen (allergen) enters the body, blood IgE binds with mast cells.
Note: The IgE test is only a general guideline. A positive result does not necessarily mean symptoms will occur, and a negative result does not guarantee 100% safety. It is important to consider your individual constitution and symptoms and consult with a doctor.
Before Undergoing Allergy Testing
If you experience symptoms, please see a doctor first. Insurance applies only if the test is determined to be "medically necessary."
- About Health Insurance: Depending on the type of insurance, you may be required to pay upfront and seek reimbursement later.
- Self-Pay Testing: Those without symptoms can also undergo testing at their own expense for future prevention.
Regarding Examination Items
This test categorizes foods and allergens into specific groups such as "raw," "processed," and "individual ingredients." By analyzing frequently consumed items in detail, we can identify the specific cause and find tips on how to consume them safely without triggering symptoms.
